Paul Guglielmo, Owner & CEO
Paul Guglielmo founded his small business, based in the Greater Rochester region, called Guglielmo Sauce, a line of 15+ marinara sauces. He started Guglielmo with 20 cases of Marinara Sauce in the summer of 2014 and today, the product is available in over 500 stores, including Wegmans, Tops and Whole Foods, and hundreds of locally owned small businesses across the Northeast.
In April 2020, he purchased Permac, known as Craft Cannery today, and increased production by 100 percent in the first year of owning, managing and operating the factory. In his first year, the facility went from a 3-person team, to a 10-person team within six months. As of 2023, production has quadrupled from what it was in 2020.
He is a Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 award winner, serves on the Board of Directors for Rochester Rotary, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Rochester Broadway Theater League, and St. Ann’s Foundation
Paul grew up on Northeast Ohio and lives in Brighton, NY with his wife Ryann and their son Leo.
As for his role as our Quality Assurance manager, Pauly holds certificates from Cornell University for Better Process Controls, University of Vermont in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, and AIB International as both an SQF (Safe Quality Food) Practitioner and a PCQI (Preventative Controls Qualified Individual).
Tom Riggio, Co-Owner
Tom Riggio brings over 30 years of experience in sales, brand management, brand ownership, marketing and communicatons, brand strategy, field marketing and organizational development, all within the food and beverage industry. As the CEO/Founder of West Wood Visions LLC, a consulting firm specializing in assisting companies in the Food & Beverage Industry, Tom is well- respected, connected and savvy business mind.
Brands he’s been actively involved in include barkTHINS, Pirate’s Booty, Iron Smoke Whiskey, Momeez Choice, vitaminwater and smartwater among many others. Tom has been a key player in growth and exit strategies for major national brands for these national brands.
Tom is a father of 2, and is married to the love of his life, Cathy. His son, Nick, works in procurement at Craft Cannery. And his daughter, Kristina, is currently in school to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Tom enjoys hunting and watching his beloved Giants & Yankees.
